Northfield Road Primary School Shares Attendance Success at Regional RISE Conference

Northfield Road Primary School has a strong track record of school improvement, and this has been recognised by the Department for Education (DfE), which recently invited Headteacher Gareth Ludlam to present the school’s successful attendance improvement strategies at a high-profile RISE conference.

Held at Villa Park, the event brought together hundreds of school and trust leaders from across the region to share best practice and discuss approaches to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Gareth was joined on stage by Stour Vale Academy Trust Executive Leader, Lara Stone. Their presentation was extremely well received by delegates, who praised the innovative, straightforward and highly effective strategies that have helped drive significant improvements in attendance at Northfield Road.

As part of our commitment to supporting the wider education community, the tools and templates developed by Northfield Road have been shared with other schools looking to replicate the school’s impressive success.

At Stour Vale Academy Trust, we are committed to improving life opportunities for children and young people. Our core values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration and Excellence underpin everything we do. This opportunity to share expertise and support other schools is a wonderful example of these values in action and reflects the collaborative spirit that exists across our Trust.
