Brook Primary School to consult stakeholders on their proposal to join Stour Vale

We are very pleased to report that the governors of Brook Primary School have resolved to consult stakeholders on their proposal to join Stour Vale.

Brook Primary School is a two-form entry school with an on-site pre-school – Brook Butterflies – situated in George Street, Wordsley. Established in 1872, the school moved to its current site – the former Audnam Secondary School – in the 1970s.

Having been a secondary school, the accommodation boasts larger classrooms and, with an extensive modernisation and refurbishment programme, now provides excellent facilities for early 21st-century education.

Brook Primary prides itself on delivering high-quality education and care for children of all abilities, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment.

Staff from the school have been working with us and getting to know us as a trust over the last 12 months. We are delighted that they would like to join us. They share our values and will add to our collective capacity for school improvement.

Marie Fellows (Headteacher), supported by her SLT and governing body, have commented: ‘We are excited about the potential opportunities this could bring for our pupils, staff and wider community, whilst remaining firmly rooted in the values that make Brook so special. This is about building on our strengths and ensuring that we are in the best possible position for the future.’
